Terms of business

On registering with MPLB&T the landlord automatically becomes a member. We are not responsible for the Lodger/Boarder/Tenant once they have been invited to reside by the Landlord. We act in the capacity of initial introducer, advisor, and intermediary. MPLB&T are not a property management company, neither a letting agent. We have the Lodger/Boarder/Tenants genuine needs at heart and we expect the them to be treated with the uttermost respect, kindness and consideration they deserve, in a manner that is free from discrimination on any grounds, including but not limited to beliefs or lawful preferences, religion, politics, gender, race and sexual orientation. We believe that we are forwarding the potential Lodger/Boarder/Tenant to you because they will be entering a safe welcoming comfortable and homely environment, MPLB&T expect the landlord to provide the Lodger/Boarder/Tenant with the package they require and both agree, and as a Landlord to adhere to it. Non adherence will result in immediate termination of registration. Landlords must comply with all relevant Safety Regulations. Landlords must ensure the property is kept in a good state of repair and ensure  a prompt to issues raised by the Lodger/Boarder/Tenant
